River Marathon 30 miles point to point

Kayak, Surf-Ski, SUP, Canoe, Outrigger Canoe or Prone

Inaugural Great Lakes Single Canoe/OC1  Marathon Championship 

(unofficial - because there isn't one)

ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY - will close when 100 boats limit reached or on Thursday, September 25th 2025

Check in DAY OF RACE - 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM at Start - Baxter Bridge

COURSE REVIEW, SAFETY MEETING  8:30 AM 

START ALL CRAFTS 9:00 AM - starting line ABOVE Baxter Bridge

(RACE ORGANIZERS MIGHT choose to start in 2 or 3 waves of crafts - based on number of crafts in each category. In such case THIS WILL BE PRESENTED AT THE SAFETY MEETING !!!)

TOTAL TIME TO COMPLETE COURSE IS 6 hours, with CUT OFF TIME 4 hours at HARVEYS BRIDGE. Missing the cut off time results in automatic DNF. 

FINISH at Mesick Lions Veterans Memorial Park  - arrival of first boats expected in 3 + hours NOON.

Cut off FINISH TIME 6 hours or 3PM. 

AWARDS ceremony by 4 PM at the same location.

PURSE - Cash prizes for top 3 female and male finishers in C1/OC1 class.
