The 23 mile race will begin at the boat launch at Yankee Marina at 54 Riverview St, Portland CT and finish in front of the Connecticut River Museum in Essex.

The 9  mile race will start at Eagle Landing State Park at 14 Little Meadow Road in Haddam and finish in front of the Connecticut River Museum in Essex.

The 3 mile race will start at Pettipaug Yacht Club and finish in front of the Connecticut River Museum

Course map will be available to be viewed prior to the races.  

All racers are advised to paddle nearest to the right side (West) while paddling down the river.  For the two longer races racers should paddle to the right of any islands/ keeping the islands on their left, this will entail paddling near marinas/ mooring fields.  This is advised so that safety boats can keep paddling vessels in sight and as the CT River is a very active power boat waterway with many vessels traveling at high speeds in the boat channels in the center, to the paddlers left.
