The start of all races is at the orange cone near where the yellow and orange lines intersect.  All racers will follow the yellow line to their respective race buoy (1-mile, 3.5-mile, 7-mile), make the turn around their buoy and return to the start buoy for their finish.  The 14-mile racers will make the turn at the 7-mile buoy and will continue towards the start only to continue following the orange line for the remainder of their race turning at the 14-mile buoy and returning back to the start for their final finish.
